Problem with file type associations when installed onto Vista Ultimate x64: Both the in-program file types association wizard and settings... preferences... file types dialog are broken for me. The program associates itself with every file type it recognizes, and does not allow you to uncheck selected file types. You click on the checkboxes, all of which are checked by default, but they just stay checked! That makes the program unusable if you don't want it to open every single graphic filetype. Too bad, because it's a cool looking application.
Great stuff guys! I recommend to everyone to try it deeply and you will be amazed, guaranteed! The only downside I found is that Zoner Photo Studio in many cases is not properly working with transparent files.
I'm using the Professional version of Zoner Photo Studio since v10 and I think is one of the best photo viewing/editing/managing software available and if you don't work much with transparent images than this could be your best choice.
It's second to Photoshop only but in this case be second is just like to be the winner because we all know that Photoshop is one and only and other software cannot really compare to it.
However I think that in one field Zoner Photo Studio is even much better than Photoshop, this is the batch function. It's perfect. Converting hundreds or thousands of photos at once is a piece of cake. You just set all the needed filters/commands and in one click all photos are done. It's possible to save the commands configuration to convert other photos later with single click just selecting the preset name.
There is a huge number of available commands for batch processing. You can correct colors, brightness, sharpness, etc, resize, add text (totally customizable watermark), rename with various constants, save for web, all this and much more on all photos with just one click.
PROs:
- almost everything is on highest level with awesome batch function
CONs:
- working with transparent images (gif/png) is not good and in many cases the saved or copied file looses the transparency without any reason.
I'm giving it 9/10 just because I'm working with transparent files a lot and launching Photoshop everytime I need to overlay few transparent images can be very annoying. Otherwise it will be 10+.

Each version of Zoner Photo Studio is independent of the rest. So you don't have to uninstall ZPS 11 to install version 12, but you are free to do so if you wish -- to free up some hard disk space, for example.

Questo è davvero un ottimo programma,sebbene la versione HOME sia sprovvista di alcune funzioni avanzate rispetto alla Professional.
@Mao Mao, sempre senza offesa, ma io , invece, sono convinto che ignorante sia colui che pensa e dice che ignoranti sono quelli che non conoscono l'inglese. Ma per favore! Posso accettare che tu dica che l'inglese ormai è indispensabile, ma non si misura il livello di preparazione culturale di una persona in base alla conoscenza dell'inglese.

Miguelito mi ha anticipato: facendo installare la versione italiana nella stessa cartella Zoner di questa, automaticamente si ha la versione in italiano del programma, che non è male.

Non si riesce a scaricare...il download viene interrotto prima della fine. Poca banda disponibile sul server?? Scarica a 30Kb (ho una 7Mb che va che è una meraviglia)...

C'è un errore: la descrizione si riferisce alla versione Professional: la Home non lavora a 16 bit, non modifica le curve dell'istogramma, non fa HDR, NON lavora i RAW, eccc.
