Well, as almost any other Wondeshare products, this GAOTD looks like a pretty decent video burner, converter and video edit app, enabling you you to edit and customize your DVD menus with more than 5 free DVD menu templates, with the ability to add your favorite song and picture as background music and image for your DVD menu.
And best of all, any editing effects you want to apply can be previewed before burning them: so this tool could be useful to keep your beautiful memories (Christmas, Birthday, Wedding etc...) on DVD, although it lacks of more advanced features such as the ability to add your own voice to your video files and that to set audio and video bitrate before converting your videos.
So, in my humble view, this GAOTD is GOOD but not GREAT!!

1. For a Novice it's perfect because it guides you through the whole process pretty well.
Con's
1. Templates are very limited. You need to go to their website and download the free templates. It would be nice to be able to edit the template completely.
2. I can't get rid of the template thumbnail
3. The main page advert is a little annoying.
EXTREMELY basic DVD creator. Windows Movie Maker leaves this program in the dust. Installed and Uninstalled very quickly.
There is something wrong with this program...It can not make DVD folder as output...only ISO or burn dvd disc ! There is not a help file included,only online,without answer where are Tools-Properties to make your choice...It can not record audio /voice/ to add to video file !? Why ? You can not set audio and video bitrate to convert ....
When I go to "Burn" tab and converting job is ended,this program crashes and closes without offer to open output folder !

perché se foste seri mi avreste risposto ieri e, perlomeno, scritto per correttezza, che non potevate farci niente se lo screen saver non funzionava.
Non serve a nulla rimandare la gente ad un forum da un'altra parte, quando c'è un problema "tecnico" da affrontare nell'immediato. Come se quel forum fosse scritto da persone sempre on-line... è mummificato!
E, adesso, potete anche metterci mezza giornata per "approvare" questo commento e tagliarlo.

Molto limitata nell'editing.
Inoltre non si riesce a salvare in locale ma solo su dvd.
Se non serve per forza mettere su dvd allora Movie Maker è ancora il migliore dei free ...

Il programma è ottimo per creare i propri dvd con video e foto. Conviene anche acquistare a €10.00 euro il pacchetto video editing perchè è un affare.

Per gigi: Certo permette di convertire i file in formato .avi, .mov, .iso e tanti altri in DVD film. Inoltre permette di inserire anche i menù prima dell'inizio del film. Questi menù possono a loro volta essere modificati come più aggrada partendo dallo sfondo fino a spostare anche i menù play e capitoli come si preferisce ed inserire anche una traccia audio sotto per il menù. Oltre alle immagini come sfondo si possono mettere anche spezzoni del film per rendere il menù ancora più interattivo. Per me è consigliato almeno fa ciò per cui è stato progettato.

E' buono come software per la creazione di dvd. Capisco che forse molti di voi ne hanno abbastanza di questi tipi di software per la creazione e ripping di DVD, ma devo dire che il fatto di poter modificare qualsiasi cosa con questo software non è male. Per questo oggi direi pollice su. Almeno non è come la famosa domenica con la Astro Gemini Hits.
