First of all, the program you referenced is "Handbrake", not "Hanbrake". More importantly, "Handbrake" does NOT provide decryption of protected BlueRay DVDs! It ("Handbrake") does NOT work better or even do the same things.

WinX Blu-Ray Decrypter works, though I can't of course say it'll work with every Blu-Ray disc now or in the future -- the DRM on retail Blu-Ray discs is always changing. Today's GOTD is a small, almost portable app that adds an uninstall key to the registry, a "Digiarty" folder under User App/Application Data, & a "Digiarty" program folder with 13 files, 1 folder, ~14 MB. WinX Blu-Ray Decrypter has 2 modes, copying either a single movie or a complete disc to your hard drive -- in the movie mode you can select from any video found on the disc, with the video that the app thinks is the main title already selected... there's also a checkbox to hide all other titles in the list. When you copy a title video you get a .m2ts file as it appears on the Blu-Ray disc -- when you copy a complete disc you get an extra WinX folder, plus the standard, required CERTIFICATE & BDMV folders. Testing WinX Blu-Ray Decrypter, I tried playing the full disc copy in Roxio's Cineplayer as well as Cyberlink's PowerDVD [after creating an ISO & mounting it in Daemon Tools] after copying a complete disc -- the menu played, but the Java-based buttons for Play, Setup etc. didn't appear... I assumed Play would be already selected as the default, & pressing/clicking the player's enter button the movie did play. [As the disc was ~39 GB I couldn't try burning it to the 25 GB discs I have on-hand.]

While there are more alternatives than a year ago, DVDFab & SlySoft are the big names for Blu-Ray decrypting software, but neither is cheap, so WinX Blu-Ray Decrypter is well worth holding onto if you have [or plan on getting] a Blu-Ray drive -- as new types/versions of DRM come out not every hardware or software player will play every disc, just by trying you may well trigger the player to request an update, & those updates Are Not risk free. [I suggest doing a bit of research (Google/Bing) before allowing any player update to see how others have fared -- in the past updates have broken stuff -- & please remember that with hardware firmware updates there's always a risk of bricking the player.] Decrypting a disc you own lets you get around that, &/or lets you store the movies on a hard drive or other storage device you can use with a hardware media player or HTPC. That said, the files on many Blu-Ray discs are too large to fit on a single layer Blu-Ray disc as-is, so you might have to re-encode the movie if you want to burn a backup copy -- that can be a time-consuming process, & you'll lose original Java-based menus as well as any extras... just something to note if you're trying to decide whether you want to buy a Blu-Ray burner. :-)
