Here is the Installation Guide for you if you are not sure how to register WinISO:
Step 1: Download the Package from GOTD and Unzip the package.
Step 2: Run winiso-setup.exe to install WinISO
Step 3: Open "readme.txt" file, copy the registration information to register it.

Very nice program, these kind of programs are quite helpful when you need to dig into an iso and get something out. Say to replace an original system file...
it's quite similar or even an alternative to PowerISO.
mounted a QNX DVD iso (QNX/RIMM's big one)extracted test files, no problem.
mounted a Visual studio 2010 SP1 Dvd Iso (UDF) extracted test files, no problem.
Mounted Kaspersky Repair disc iso thingy, extracted test files, no problem I then ADDED a few random files to the Kaspersky ISO (something I DID NOT Create) and saved it Creating a NEW iso.
Re-open and boom files are added in there just great and can be extracted again.
So this program is rockin and up to snuff.

It's a pretty good iso image tool. I used it to burn the Windows 8 iso file to my own DVD, and it works pretty well. Then I used the new DVD to install Windows 8 successfully. Great!!!

Norton? Ahahahahah la ciofeca degli antivirus! Esso non serve! Cambialo! Qualsiasi cosa ma Norton no, è solo un applicazione per appesantire le risorse.
Detto ciò il software è ottimo, neanche a farlo a posta mi serviva una cosa del genere proprio adesso! Grande!

Mi sa che qualcuno non ha capito come funziona WinISO... è praticamente un concorrente diretto di UltraISO che serve per manipolare le immagini iso anche in altri formati: creazione di immagini partendo da file e cartelle; conversione tra differenti formati immagine; montaggio a caldo di qualsiasi tipo di immagine; masterizzazione diretta delle immagini; supporto per la creazione di immagini avviabili. Io uso UltraISO ma potrei tranquillamente usare anche WinISO visto che l'uno non interferisce con l'altro ;-)

#9 Popof: Ciao, purtroppo non posso aiutarti (ho win7), ma ho dato un occhiata veloce alla stanza inglese e ci sono almeno un paio di post che dicono 'nessun problema con XP Pro sp3'.
Cmq temo che si stia iniziando (precocemente) a testare sempre meno su XP, daltronde noterai che tra i requisiti (anche sul sito ufficiale) c'è solo un criptico 'compatibile con win7'.
Imho non è un problema del tuo pc, propenderei sulla solita pessima pratica di scoraggiare i possessori di OS datati benchè ottimi come nel caso di XP...

Il softare offerto oggi è un buon gestore di file immagini.
Alternativa free, nonchè il migliore (sempre a titolo personale), l'intramontabile Daemon Tools Lite.

mi correggo : windows XP Professional SP3

Con windows XP professional SP2 il programma non funziona completamente- In particolare la funzione "mount" (che è quella che mi interessa maggiormente): dopo aver aperto un file.iso, non appena clicco sul pulsante "mount" il programma si impalla completamente e si lascia chiudere soltanto per mezzo del task manager. Succede la stessa cosa a qualcun altro o dipende dal mio PC? Ciao

@lyman: il Norton fa schifo... dai il setup in pasto a virus total e capirai... può anche darsi che dentro il setup ci siano file compressi con UPX e quindi è normale che un elefante come Norton ti avvisi di strane routine di compressione che farebbero pensare a malware...
