Vista home premium
Settings easy to use, Wash now cleans the temporary Internet files and can be adjusted for each browser installed and each browser profile, as well as adjusting it for msn, and windows activities (ms office use, start menu history etc)
I would stress that this is not a security replacement but computer assistance for wiping your tracks.

As for the thumbs up and thumbs down, the counts mean absoluely nothing to me because it seems to me many merely click one or the other just for the heck of it. And the counts are about the POST, and not about the software being offered.
As for computer cleaners, I happily obtained from GiveawayoftheDay Glary Utilities, Win Utilities, CCleaner (someone here told me about it; use it daily), and a few others. Wish there was a program that cleaned up everything and checked for viruses, etc. all in one. Now if I could only keep my floors as clean as my computer!
Downloaded/installed/activated fine on Vista x64 system. Beautiful, simple, clean, User Interface (GUI).
222,412 browser/windows files (1510 MB in size) were shredded in 4 minutes, using a Single Pass Wash Process.

#5 Kapersky and Spybot are two totally different types of programs. Total Privacy 5 cleans out Temp files, Temporary Internet files and History files, and does it with great speed.

I’ve been using this program since its last give away and have found it to be one of the best. All of you CCleaner and other so called great cleaning program users try installing this. Was surprised to see this as I downloaded and installed this previously and think it is a nice program especially with its wipe system. So I thought I would download this since the web site shows a newer version! Imagine my surprise to see all I got was the same thing...verison 5.6 (2008). Oh well; thanks anyway! By the way; I do use C-Cleaner; Glary's Pro and this; Because what one doesn't get, the other does, plus this Total Privacy has more features! Thanks again! Xp-sp3

Stavo andando a spulciare nelle vecchie pagine di Giveaway e ho trovato alcuni commenti del nostro Cerbotto/Giovi il quale, anzichè stracciare i maroni come fa ora, in origine era una persona normale e utile per il forum.

@ teck90: oltre a installare la versione più recente (nonostante gli errori resituiti dal sistema) sei anche riuscito a registrarla?
altra domanda: se usi già Glary Utilities Pro, che te ne fai allora di questo programma che sostanzialmente svolge le stesse funzioni? ;-)

Giancar, mi spiace deluderti, ma l'ho appena installata la versione + recente (5.72c) e nnt mi trovo male perchè è priva di lingua italiana, ho riscontrato un errore nell'installazione per via di qualche .dll, ma ho continuato l'installazione ignorandola, adesso l'ho disinstallato.
PS: di Glary Utilities.. tengo la versione pro, senza toolbar installate. ;)

Non credo che riuscirai a registrare le versione più recente di questo programma, se ne vuoi uno anche in italiano e che svolga funzioni simili ti consiglio Glary Utilties free

Il programma di oggi, molto funzionale, ricco di opzioni, interfaccia piacevole ma privo di lingua italiana.. e la lingua italiana in programmi del genere aiuta molto a capire siccome è ricco di opzioni e informazioni.. peccato!!

Non installatelo la versione proposta da GOTD è la 5.60 mentre la più recente è la 5.72c (come si evince dal sito del produttore).
Guardate quanti bug ha la versione proposta oggi

Scusate OT … ma ci tenevo a postare questo ultimo messaggio.
Visti i continui insulti, minacce e offese verso gli utenti e le persone che frequentano questo sito da parte di questo personaggio (Fiorella), ho deciso di non postare più nessun ulteriore commento… fino a quando la situazione (forse) non si sistemerà.
Mi limiterò semplicemente a scaricare il software del giorno se lo riterrò utile… naturalmente tralasciando i commenti.
Rispetto la scelta fatta da Wot@n di sospendere anche il Topic riguardante i programmi free alternativi al software del giorno… (… ma molto probabilmente, visto la scarsa frequentazione del forum italiano, nessuno si è accorto di questo).
Invito “Fiorella” (alias Uruk) di smetterla con questa farsa … il cui intento ormai è ben chiaro.
Ti assicuro che quello che stai tentando di fare … si trasformerà in un “Boomerang” che ti colpirà.
Invito tutti a NON postare dati sensibili (come possono essere le WHOIS) … che verebbero utilizzate da questo personaggio per raggiungere i PROPRI SCOPI.
Questo personaggio non da “niente per niente” …vuole raggiungere solo i suoi scopi…. molti questo l’hanno finalmente capito.
Semplicemente fate finta che NON ESISTA e non assecondate i suoi insulti e le “sue richieste”…. IGNORATELO.
