Teamplayer is a standard in the IT industry for remote control of PCs, like VNC or Remote Desktop. I'm very happy to get a free copy.
I can't install it on my XP box though, when it tries to authenticate with GOTD I get an error message saying "Failed to connect. Please try again later."
Guess I'll try again later...

Rek, I think you mean TeamViewer for remote controlling a PC?

This did make me smile.
I can certainly see the benefits that such a product could offer but from a marketing perspective I think that they score own goals.
There are no video demos on their website that I could see, so I hopped over to Youtube where they have a channel, with the last video being from 3 years ago.
So when I read the line "imagine what can happen when you have six simultaneous users on screen", it made me think that they clearly haven't used their own technology or workforce to utilise the software in a marketable way.
Then I read on their website the following line "CASE: Attaching more mouses and keyboards to your PC", which made me chuckle but again, was it not possible for 6 marketing team members to work out the generally defined plural of mouse is mice and not mouses (even though it can be an accepted term from a dictionary perspective).
I also have to say that for me, their website is also lacking in it's design and layout.
All these things just give a general feeling of a company that isn't itself striving, despite trying to push a product that is a great enabler.
Testing it, it does seem to work from the limited testing that I have done so far, so from a perspective of actual substance over style, the product does at least look as though it does what it says on the tin, which is of greatest importance to anybody purchasing the product.
The one big problem for me is getting enough people to want to take a look at the product in the first place.
GOTD will help to some degree but I think that a rethink of marketing is required in order to get it to more users.

From the program description;
"Just imagine what can happen when you have six simultaneous users on screen, each using their own local mice and keyboard."
And in the program requirements section;
"Windows XP and up (x32/x64); Additional mice (and optional keyboards) attached to your PC are needed to accommodate multiple users "
So.... one says others can use the mice and keyboards on their own computers and the other says they must all be attached to your computer (the one you intend to use)...
being Dutch, I should support this Dutch company... but I cannot. I'm confused now as to what this actually is... how it works. PLEASE.... tell us which way this works... its misleading for one to say one thing and another to say the total opposite.
