Ultimamente non riesco ad installare i prg che richiedono l'attivazione online. Pur avendo dato tutti i permessi la connessione viene rifiutata. Bah!

Sothink have on Jan 4th 2010 released an upgrade to the version 4.7 offered in today's giveaway.
Does this mean we'll be stuck with the bugs in v4.7? SWF Quicker looks like a promising application, but would much more promising of course without the bugs...

here's the list of bugs fixed and features added:

Version History

Sothink SWF Quicker 5.0 (Build 501)

New Features:

* Able to download and install FLEX SDK and JRE automatically during the program installation.
* Added gap filling and locking fill functions for the Paint Bucket tool.
* When using Subselection tool to adjust anchor position of two adjacent smooth lines, the adjusted lines will also keep smooth.
* Added Registration option for the "Convert to Symbol" dialog.
* Added Align option for the "Replace Symbol" dialog.
* Able to pick up fill and line style by Eyedropper tool.

Fixed Bugs:

* Unable to select line by Selection tool.
* Unable to synchronize the unmodified properties to all after modifying certain property for the selected shapes.
* Exporting movie error occurred when one movie clip is placed on the timeline continuously.
* The syntax "trace" is unavailable in AS3.

Answers:

1. You're not stuck with anything, it's FREE.

2. Normally releases like 4.x and to 5.x would not be considered an update, it would be a entire new version release, and generally you have to buy a new License for the new version.

3. (Here comes the real kicker of answers...)
Have you even bothered to try installing SWFQuicker v5.0 to find out if the v4.7 license will upgrade? (I think you'll be pleased to see the results.)
