Installed ok on win7 home prem x64, novelty kind of program, can be annoying after a while, some faults found, backspace on typewriter1 sound scheme reads as number 8, the return button on this scheme is breaking glass (very annoying ) punctuation IE £^&*()" etc is read as numbers, also still continues to read when playing games you have to manually turn it off when playing games, otherwise nice program but needs a serious amount of work to make it better.
I suspect this might be helpful for people who are visually impaired, but MS text to speech (though not sure it does the read as you type), does pretty much the same.
As a general thing I don't think it's the height of coooool, and after being annoyed by it for 10 seconds, I'd probably uninstall it pronto.
Or you could put it on the kids' computer and it can drive you daft as it tries to read badly spelt words.

Very nice little APP even though 30 $ seems for this to me a little bit steep!!
Not really helpful, but absolutely amusing, although it does not work in every language.
May be useful for KIDS or people who are blind or visually impaired!!!
A decent FREEWARE alternative (Standalone app, so no DLL's) may be this:

The idea is nice. Congrats!
However, two things:
1. When I press window minimize/maximize/close buttons in the window title my windows (XP Pro) hangs for 10-20 seconds, which makes application very difficult to use. May be it's a conflict with some third part application?
2. More sound themes needed, perhaps you could allow theme sharing on your web-site?

ma a chi puo interessare una cosa del genere,e´ tanto rilassante lavorare con la tastiera e con il maus in assoluto silenzio figuriamoci con un fastidioso suono che piacevole o meno sicuramente ti distrae e ti fa perdere la concentrazione.

Dimenticavo, “Balabonka” può sostituire il NotePad di Windows, avendo le medesime funzioni. Permette di salvare i testi nei formati di videoscrittura, ma anche nei formati audio più utilizzati, così da creare un audiolibro.

Segnalo anche “Balabonka”: http://www.cross-plus-a.com/balabolka_it.htm. Il programma utilizza “le API Microsoft Speech e il TTS Engine installati sul computer” (sto copiando dalla descrizione del programma regalato oggi), ma è gratuito. Inoltre, nel sito del produttore sono disponibili patch per la pronuncia in miriadi di lingue. Sicuramente, Balabonka è un utile programma, per conoscere la “corretta” pronuncia di una parola in lingue sconosciute.

Grazie per il consiglio Satisfaction. Hai completamente ragione... credo anche io che sia uno scherzo della domenico o almeno lo spero! 30$??????? Beati i ricconi che hanno i soldi da buttare in sw e pc nuovi! Ma, io poveraccio, manco gratis voglio sentire il suono del mouse o dei tasti. Come aggettivo aggiungerei .... assurdo e forse anche allucinante!

La pronuncia dovrebbe essere schifosa, poichè gli accenti sono sbagliati.
Software davvero banale/brutto addirittura a $30 .-.
Comunque un ottimo software text to speech freeware è "Er Finestra"

Se volete un programma per vocalizzare testi ("TTS (Text To Speech) con funzionalità di ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) integrate") cercate su Google "DSpeech" (fa parte delle Dimio's Utilities)
