I easily & quickly created a flash photo album in one minute from beginning to end - very easy to do using program's Photo Album Wizard.
Resulting flash photo album was very beautiful and professional looking. Satisfying to know I can create such artistic work myself.
Program is a pleasure to use and will enable me to be creative and add many flash animations and artwork to my personal websites.
A definite two-thumbs-up from me for today's GiveAway. Thanks much, GOTD and SoThink, for sharing this wonderful program with us.
This is one of those programs that are actually useful to most GAOTD users, so I'm not surprised to see a 78% Thumbs-up rating. This is a really good piece of software, I previously had an old version, now I can update it. It provides an easy way to create SWFs and edit them.
PROS
Support applying Flash filters to add special animating visual effects to texts, buttons and movie clips.
Option to export the currently opened movie as GIF or AVI.
Can create multiple effects.
Can edit exe compressed swf files.
Quick and easy adding of effects.
Inuitative interface.
CONS
The Help file does not describe the technical terms properly.
Large install size.
Price is too high. About 50~60 bucks would attract a lot more users.
Verdict: 8/10
Sothink has been continually providing good software to the GAOTD community, so I have benn using a lot of their software, including the web video downloader, the DHTML Menu and the FLV Player.
Very interesting
Very smooth installation, straight forward.
I sellected the photo album for speed testing under the following conditions:
1. Over 500 images (1+MB each photo quality)
2. Customized for widescreen
3. Mixed formats (not specifically JPGs)
Result:
1. Blazing speed in converting/importing images (all formats)
2. nicely compressed final swf file (over 1 Gig --> about 600MB)
3. halted the importing at 375 files in total (cannot take more)
A. Template size limitation
B. Storage Capacity governance
4. Handled manual editing very well
5. A bit miss aligned wide screen images yet very much acceptable result
6. single file container (swf)
Verdict:
1. Amazing in simplicity for the novice, useful for pros' quick needs.
2. Highly recommended. very much a keeper
3. out of 10 its a proud 8, (for some professional's needs won't be met)

Programma davvero bello.
Un surrogato di flash con operazioni che velocizzano molto alcuni tipi di animazione.
Piuttosto semplice (per chi conosce flash) l'interfaccia e buone alcune funzioni che permettono con pochi click di evitare molto codice AS.
Sul sito del produttore si dichiara la compatibilità con ActionScript 3.0 ma io ho dei problemi che non so ancora se dipendano da me (abituato ad usare AS2)o dal sw.
Nell'insieme un ottimo programma.

@koil e chi è interessato, provato solo con i template predefiniti:
ALBUM
--- con foto incluse nel codice, hai 5 strutture predefinite
--- con foto come link esterni, hai 10 strutture predefinite (non ho capito dove sbaglio, ma le immagini non vengono caricate, forse testato troppo in fretta )
BANNER
--- hai da 3 a 6 testi da inserire su di uno sfondo (14 tipi di sfondo preimpostati, ma puoi caricarne altri), ovviamente puoi inserire un link nel banner
NAVIGATIONS BUTTON
--- hai 21 tipi di bottoni (non sono propiamente eccezionali), ti permette di inserire da 1 a n bottoni (uguali) con un testo e un link, per creati un menù di selezione da inserire in una pagina web
SLIDE SHOW
--- indovina un po :-) , puoi selezionare l'immagine di caricamento (tra 8 predefinite) e 10 tipologie di bottono di navigazione
Questo nei TEMPLATE, poi hai la nodalità "manuale" ma non ho tempo per provarla ... lascio a te o agli altri il piacere.
Prima di pubblicare hai vari settaggi (modalità di compressione, tipo di animazione flash, ecc)
Esporti in SWF, AVI o GIF (non so cosa accada nel caso usi un GIF, non ho provato)
Dimenticavo, puoi importare animazioni flash per modificarle ...
Direi un buon POLLICE SU. Da prelevare e ... beh conservare :-D (se non sapete come fare papà Google, la salvezza di tutti noi, aiuta)
