The Good
* Straightforward and easy to use.
* Displays detailed information about user's computer from hardware to installed software and everything in between.
* Allows user to output "reports" in multiple different formats (HTML, CSV, TXT, XML).
* Comes with a handful of useful "extra" tools such as a password revealer, MAC address changer, etc.
* Has a portable version.
The Bad
* I will let everyone know if I think of one.

Love this program! Its small for what it does, and it can be somewhat compared to Sandra Lite, however one big thing I like about this program is that it actually shows how much wear and tear the battery has. I have been looking all over for a program that does this and found it here today on GOTD.
Get this first while its still here, because its a whole lot faster and lighter then some system info tools I have tried.
The price shown on this page is for the Technician's version, but we've been given the Business version. These types of tools are always potentially handy, but one should only use them as a general guide and research specifics yourself. For example, it says my video card supports DX9, but it supports DX11. It says my motherboard supports only 4GB RAM, but it supports 8GB in 64-bit mode (and it doesn't precisely identify the board). The EULA mentioned no registry entries, but the Business version installs and creates a few registry entries.
For those of you who think this is freeware, it is not.
This version allows access to all tools.

SPECIAL ONE number ONE here!!
Until now I had always used 2 freeware to gather detailed information about my system:
EVEREST ULTIMATE 4.6 and SPECCY.
After trying today's giveaway I have to admit that it's definitely better, more comprehensive and much easier to use (at least for SPECIAL ONE like me...LOL!!) than the two freeware alternatives mentioned above I've been using till now!!
It doesn't require too many resources despite providing a lot of information with many useful tools, not to mention that it even provides a PORTABLE version.
To be honest with you, the only BUG I found till now is the "password revealer" option that seems to be quite buggy and faulty but as far as I'm concerned this is not a big problem (who cares of the hidden passwords behind the astricks?? LOL!!).
That being said, overall I give it 3 THUMBS UP although I quite understand that because of the nature of this kind of programs, you may feel overwhelmed by a lot of technical information (in English of course...LOL!!) should you ignore what they all mean.
So SIW is definitely not suitable for everyone (get the drift, Popof?? LOL!!)
As for the main differences in features between the FREE and PAID version of this program, please refer to this chart:

As you can see from the above chart there are not so many differences between the two versions that may justify the price (70 $??? LOL!! It must be a joke!!).

@ Popof: questa versioe è praticamente identica a quella gratuita; l'unica differenza è il poter salvare il LOG file in altri formati rispetto all'html.

Io non ho capito una cosa: che cos'ha in più questa versione a pagamento (così costosa) rispetto a quella free che si può scaricare liberamente , per esempio, dal sito di "aiutamici"? Lo chiedo perché non l'ho ancora installato e da un primo confronto "sulla carta" mi pare identico alla versione free.Sicuramente non è così. Chi mi illumina?

se le condizioni dicono "uso privato" non esiste cosa più inutile di un regalo che non può essere usato.
questo software è per uso commerciale, darlo per uso privato e basta, non serve.
