Installed and not registered with problems on a Win 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system. Oops!

Remember, this is a 1.5 years license. But it can be free:
"We weren't kidding when we said SecureAPlus can be free forever.
All you have to do is be a viral force of internet goodness by telling your friends & family about SecureAPlus."
It installs a renamed free ClamAv virus scanner. No credits. It installs a freeware desktop search machine from David Carpenter "everything" in the version 1.3.4. I don't see a credit either
A Japanese(?)/US(?) company with address. And a big marketing claim:
"The world's most powerful computer security solution in a clean and simple application that everyone can use." and "ironclad protection" or "Absolute 360° Protection 24/7. Military Grade." In my understanding, the best security solution is the brain of the computer user. If trained...
Upon start, it starts scanning with the SecureAge Plus virus scanner, aka ClamAv. In the settings you define the upload bevavior:

Unknown files are uploaded to the free service of VirusTotal:

Difficult to say, what I think. Can I trust a company which renames free software without mention the original producer and copyright? You'll decide.
(maybe the credits are hidden, where I don't find them...)
A combination of free available security tools, an interface to some of Windows built in security function. Uninstalled via reboot. Most secure with ClamAv? LOL...

And...
I try to be as objective as possible. But it is always MY subjective opinion. If I see a terrible background, others find this beautiful. My taste is different from a Chinese teen. If I remark an unreadable overcrowded UI, others are happy to have all 67 controls visible at the same time. If I claim a "professional marketing", others read this as pure SPAM.
So take it "cum grano salis".

ClamAV & 7-Zip can be found on our EULA (http://www.secureaplus.com/Main/eula.php). You are however correct in saying that David Carpenter's great "Everything" tool is not yet included. We appreciate you pointing this out and we shall be adding this soon. You could however find the license within the install location (\Program Files\SecureAge\Everything).
We left ClamAV optional. The combination of Application Whitelisting and Universal AV is what really we propose that protects you 100% protection. The former gives back control to the user regardless of how new a threat is and the latter empowers human decision with as much information possible.
Lastly, great insightful feedback, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and it hopefully makes SecureAPlus better. We hope more people give it a chance to see what we have to offer.
I'll admit, the 58K+ registry changes deter my trying this. Otherwise, I'd find it worth a try.
Zemana AntiMalware is more better then this software and it includes Kaspersky,Eset,Avira ,BitDefender,AVG and Zemana-6 Engins. SecureAPlus is very complicated to understand and registration process is also very confusing.
Hi Joji,
Is not just an Anti-Virus, the real beauty of our solution lies on the powerful application whitelisting that puts you in control even against zero-day viruses and malware. This is heavily reinforced by the 12 Anti-Virus engines that we employ as well as the 2nd opinion from Virus Total to ensure that the user makes an informed decision to trust or block a possible threat.
Zemana Anti-Malware is a great software in itself and kudos to the team behind it. We have our own take on security and we'd like to make it better. Feel free to give us feedback on how we can make SecureAPlus easier to use. Rest assured that we take your comments to heart to improve the software for everyone. SecureAPlus is on GOTD after all to let more people try our full solution at no cost for a limited time.
Any independent reviews of this program comparing it to other security solutions?
Found this recent and balanced review of them:

Also found these on YouTube from a few days ago:

Seems legit, but could still be improved. Interface needs work to my liking. But otherwise it seems to be delivering what it set out to do.
I'd still advise having something like Bitdefender locally installed instead of their offline AV which is really ClamAV which is alright but there are better free offline alternatives out there.
Other than that, it's a solid software most would be happy with.
10 antivirus son troppo pochi... ce ne vogliono almeno 18!
