Unknown software company which claims on its website to be "a world leader", makes you wonder how many "world leaders" there are out there which no-one has ever heard of.
I might have been interested in trying this app but not when I know I'm being lied to. And especially not when I discover that the Safe365 website is filled with computing hints and tips intended to create the impression that these people know what they are talking about, but which have been stolen from other websites. Have a look at this in Tom's Guide:
http://www.tomsguide.com/faq/id-2122487/recover-deleted-files-shift-del.html
and then spot the exact same wording on the Safe365 site. Try being honest Mr Developer about yourself and your "world leading" software and people might then consider doing business with you. Until then, no thank you.

Kerry, actually these people don't know how SHIFT-DEL deleted files happen as the text they have on their site is WRONG and only deals with FAT style file systems and only PART of the deleting and recovery process... putting it all down to the changing of the first letter to a particular non-valid character that flags the file as deleted... It does NOT flag the file as deleted and does NOT make the files allocated space available for re-use all changing that first character does is mark the DIRECTORY ENTRY as unused. The files allocation has to be marked as available in either the FAT or MFT depending on whether it is a FAT12/16 or 32 or NTFS file system. The chances are this vendor does not develop the undeletion software themselves but just buy it in and re-brand it to their trading name.
They state on their website:
"Simple delete files by pressing the DEL key or using advance technique to delete the file by pressing Shift + DEL Key may result in data loss. When a file is deleted from your computer, its contents aren't immediately destroyed. Windows simply marks the hard drive space as being available for use by changing one character in the file table. If you manage to start an undelete process before Windows overwrites that part of hard disk with new files. You can set that flag back to "on" and get your file. And that's why shift delete file recovery is possible." That is simply untrue it involves alot more than one character in the file table to delete a file without corrupting the file system... delete by altering just one character as they say will leave space allocated but not to any directory entry and use of chkdsk or scandisk would provide the warning about lost file allocations being found and the possibility of saving those allocated but lost clusters to FILE????.CHK files or folders! in a FOUND.000 subfolder.
