Today's giveaway looks a pretty good app which does its job without any hassle.
It has a very user friendly interface although the "drag and drop" method is not supported when importing photos from your PC.
This app enables you to add text on the videos, as well as select the audio track and the video compression codec for your final output, not to mention that it can make cross fading transitions between your photos.
So overall, for what it does, I give it a THUMBS UP.
However, as usual, there are tons of excellent FREEWARE and always UPDATABLE alternatives out there which can replace this tool quite easily....

Very poor resulting video pixalated and sound distorted Program removed PDQ
WATCH OUT FOR THE *NOT QUITE* HIDDEN TOOLBAR AND OTHER SOFTWARE BEING INSTALLED WITH THIS ONE (EVEN WITH THE DWONLOAD FROM THE WEBSITE).
Installed ok on Visa Premium. Their website has to be one of the blandest and faint and small I have seen in a while.
Doesn't seem to allow drag and drop so painful to add files.
Rather slow as it adds the thumbnails . Added 6 photos and ran the program. It produced an avi file which loads fine into VLC but doesn't show anything. Lots of free programs which will produce videos from stills. Nice try but must try harder!
Where are all the special effects that can be added with a few clicks? On my program there are only two options - those that turn the pictures to B & W or sepia. I couldn't see anywhere to download additional effects. The only transitions that showed up when I chose the dynamic picture option, the cross-fading, and the longest fps option was a slow movement up for one picture, then down for the next, etc. And if I chose a long time period for each picture then some fading transistions kicked in. But this is hardly a professional result as the program boasts.
There was nowhere to add text either. The 'expert' button just resulted in a strange result for me: superfast scrolling through the pictures.
Also the compression is suspect for the first optiion: Microsoft - produces too pixilated a result. A decent one is the IYUV Intel Codec.
I think this software still needs much more thought put into it for the user to get a good result.

Il programma è semplicemente eccezzionaleee !!!
Ho voluto per curiosità visitare il sito del produttore per informarmi meglio prima di scaricarlo e mi sono imbattuto in un video dimostrativo ( Official tutorial/video ) che mi ha letteralmente fatto accapponare la pelle !! Non riuscivo a credere che si fosse arrivati a tanto !
Certo occorre fare una certa tara che si tratta di un filmato dimostrativo, fatto da professionisti e che per noi comuni mortali non sarà facile fare altrettanto ... ma anche così il risultato ha dell'incredibile ; bisogna davvero ammettere che ORA siamo entrati nel secondo millennio !!

Era tanto che non provavo un programma offerto da gaotd. Oggi l'ennesima delusione: mi viene da pensare che il team di gaotd non verifiche la funzionalità dei programmi offerti. Questo di oggi non unisce in modo corretto il flusso video con il flusso audio e il file risultante non viene letto in maniera corretta neanche da VLC (che legge veramente di tutto, pure l'elenco della spesa).
Penso che pure la software house non faccia una bella figura, sembra che ci usino come beta tester per scovare i vari bug.
La qualità video dipende dall'impostazione del codec, di per sè il programma produce un flusso video idoneo alla riproduzione, ma sbaglia ad unirlo con il flusso audio.

Scusate, ma a Voi funziona? Produce dei filmati accettabili? A me, con 5 foto ed un MP3 di sottofondo, va tutto a scatti e con una risoluzione bassissima.Ho provato più volte con i codec a disposizione ma il risultato non cambia...

Si installa e si attiva tramite codice incluso nel file readme.txt senza problemi......
Il programma e' semplicissimo da usare anche se purtroppo, come dice sapido, e' molto povero di effettistica.....
Sempre come detto da sapido, e' molto interessante che il risultato venga ottenuto come video .avi o .divx
Come parere rispetto al programma lo giudico una buona soluzione per chi non ha necessita' di doversi studiare software ben piu complessi....certo che se lo si dovesse comperare, ci son altre soluzioni molto migliori.....

la maggior parte dei sw del genere salva in formato flash, non compatibile con molti smartphones; sembra buona l'idea del divx + mp3, anche se gli effetti di transizione sono pochi...
