Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system. A clean install. It installs in my case a 64bit EXE.

Upon start a dark resizable window opens, you can change the language, define the input, define the parts to cut out, and define the background.
This is done in an easy understandable way. The result depends as always from the picture. It works best with clear define different colors:

Does a good job on the typical "normal" picture, easy to use, a keeper for the photo toolbox.
I'll keep it as a quick (really!) scissor for my normal use.

Many people like Topaz Remask [it's been mentioned here before], but at $70 it's pricy. Colin Smith has a tutorial here that, while intended for Photoshop, the basic method should work with a large number of image editing apps.

Tested the program earlier to remove the background of an image having very simple background ( almost unicolor ) , the result in first attempt was not impressive at all as it also removed some portions of foreground also . It requires a little bit of precise foreground and background marking to achive the desired output. Not that much straightforward but overall it is able to produce satisfactory result.

For simple background the 'Eraser' and 'Magic Wand' and 'Lasso Tool' of any Image Editor such as Paint(dot)NET can be used together to produce a good result .

For an image having complex background I use a different method . After choosing appropriate brush size and colour I paint the complex portion with paint brush to make that portion unicoloured . Then 'Magic wand' works accurately to remove that portion to make the background transparent.

Comparae to this program the Light and free version of Photo Montage Guide (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Graphic/Graphic-Editors/Photo-Montage-Guide-Lite.shtml) does the same job with less effort in my eyes. A tutorial is available at http://tintguide.com/example_transparent.html

Installed on my Windows 7 x64 partition and registered OK. Takes up only 15.1mb of drive space.
Very impressive utility, zooming in allows you to go down to a pretty good level of detail.
The picture needs to be of reasonable quality, worked great on normal pictures, but obviously on pictures taken with poor light where there was poor definition it runs over resulting in gaps, but this can only be expected.

A definite keeper for me.

Works very well also with black & white pictures. Very fast and accurate. Can save uncompressed formats BMP and TIFF for further image manipulation, which might be needed after roughing the surface and the edges. But you can achieve a near perfect result, even with hairs, playing with the zoom and the two boundary settings on the right. You can add a very useful solid color background. Additional features: crop and shadow.

Thanks Teorex for a excellent product. People who down vote this GOTD are blind or never work on images, which is possible after all. Today, don't trust the votes.

I must add that this program does not have any memory. This 2015, and programmers still don't know how to make user experience pleasant:
- cannot remember last used folder to save files
- cannot remember last used folder to open files
- cannot remember last used file type
- cannot remember last boundary settings
- cannot remember last window size
- cannot remember last window position (a reminder, because it always starts fullscreen)
