Installed and registered on a Win 8.1.3 64bit Pro system. Many registry changes due to an old OCX,MSCOMCTL.OCX, a Microsoft ActiceX from 2002!
The installer takes as default location c:\PDFToExcelConverter ...
A Chinese company without name and address, but with a toll-free number.
The about states a program version 2011, as most files ion the directory. Only the EXE is 2015 built. The program uses the PDF toolkit from https://www.pdflabs.com/tools/pdftk-the-pdf-toolkit/ in the version from November 2006.
A small non resizable window opens with some funny elements. In the settings you can only turn the sound reminder on/off, the "tools" is just the convert button.
There is no PDF preview, you enter the file a start page and an end page and convert it to Excel.
I took an example with gridded data as an Excel example. The default output is C:\output. It seems that the company doesn't read any comments here.
The first test showed, that I must have something misunderstood. It did not convert a table embedded in a page, but the page in an unreadable form:

Okay, again, but the other way round. I took a valid .XLS, a forecast files (obviously) and converted this to PDF...
a most simple document:

The result was, hmmm, how should I say in polite words...

I am sure, they have a test file, which worked. What a pity, that they don't give this as an test example.
Uninstalled via reboot, maybe you have more success....

I gave the program a second chance. This single page from a PDF file, with grid-lines...

When you buy a program by ABBYY you know you're buying a quality product, they are a company that takes pride in what it produces.
Sadly PDFZilla produce PDF software that I will not even bother to test as experience with their products over the last few years has been so disappointing.
$49 for a product that fails so miserably is inexcusable.

I would rather expect a PDF converter to convert to Word, as Excel is not the natural media for PDF files.
PDF is more akin to a document, rather than to a spreadsheet, so the choice of Excel is somewhat puzzling.
One explanation is found on the website saying "Edit Your PDF Forms In MS Excel", so it seems that this converter targets mostly PDF Forms, which explains the choice of Excel as target.
Although I do collect PDF converters, this one seems too limited and I will not be trying it.
For those looking for a Word processor and PDF editor, I recommend the free and excellent AbleWord editor, which can edit PDF files as well as saving them in various formats that include MS Word.

Don't get to excited about AbleWord editor, it has watermarks,3 page limit, stole the default pdf association, and locked after that.

In the resulting Excel file the columns are totally messed up. The result is worst than just copy and paste from PDF to XLS. So from me a thumb down.
