I don't want to remark on the software itself just the strange (lack of) version numbering they seem to do at Paragon. Don't these people understand the information that is contained in such version numbers?

So the latest release is from before the last Giveaway and therefore it would seem today's version should be the same. The installer is slightly bugger than any of the two versions from the previous giveaway and there were two separate versions for 32 and 64 bits Windows then. Not today so maybe they have managed to combine both 32 and 64 bits version in a single installer.
But first of all why on Earth don't they change the version number from the 29.04.2010 version 11.0 in the 10.06.2011 "Major update" to something like 11.1 or even 11.5 if it's such a major update? And even if today's version(s?) is/are identical to the previous giveaway except for the combined installer (if that is indeed the case) then just say so. And perhaps change the version number from 11.1 (which it should have been) to something like 11.1.0.1 to indicate a very minor change (the installer). I would expect such adequate version numbering would be helpful for the support people too so they'll know exactly which version the customer is using.
I mean... what's the trouble? None as far as I can see. And what's the downside? Again none as far as I can see. Am I missing something here or is Paragon?

Disastroso: ho un pc con dual boot (Windows - Ubuntu). Ho cliccato sull'opzione per l'installazione del boot manager integrato col software di oggi (sperando fosse più ricco di funzioni di Grub2) e invece scopro che, al riavvio, vede solo WindowsXP. No problem, c'è l'opzione per ripristinare il precedente MBR (tutto in automatico, con un solo click). Peccato che al riavvio il pc non parte proprio: ho dovuto ripristinare l'immagine che mi ero fatto qualche giorno fa... che patacca!!!
