I've been using Foxit PDF Reader ( https://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf-reader/ )for years. It's FREE. Foxit does so much more than just have a printer driver that creates PDFs. You can type on any PDF. You can annotate any PDF, You can do a hundred things this one-trick pony can't.

Good and user friendly program. I used it before Windows 10. But now Windows 10 has its own PDF printer...

Now. The Lite version is not free. And what is so special in this software?
There so many PDF readers with different options, why Nova?
It has a service in a system, what for? I did not get it.
I have using an XChange PDF Viewer, free version full of options and benefits. There many of othe software, for example, Foxit PDF Reader and many others. Why am I must use a payable software? This is not an editor.

You are talking about a PDF Reader product but novaPDF Lite works like a printer (it creates PDF documents from any printable source; it installs as a printer driver). You select it just like you select a printer (instead of a physical printer), and whatever you wanted to print now will be in a PDF file (no paper printer needed).
I started using the XChange PDF free editions of their reader, then bought their full editor/reader/printer driver. It allows me to print to a PDF file, view a PDF file, and I can also edit any PDF file. It is a great product, but only the printer driver part is similar to the novaPDF Lite program.
I also maintain a current edition of the Foxit Reader. Keep in mind that a "reader" is not the same as a "printer driver."

On one hand it's a great package if you want to print web pages or any document to a PDF file instead of a printer.
In fact even the Lite version is overkill for this simple task. Quality piece of software.
However it does install a Google Analytics and Telemetry DLL onto your system drive, generates, records and transmits three unique device ID identifier codes which are sent during registration, and defaults all telemetry to "ON".
I'd imagine they claim all the identifiers were merely for drm purposes but the fact remains that they install spyware components, default them to on, claim it's anonymous, all while triangulating three very specific personally identifying markers.
