Zero downvotes and 31 thumbs up...can somebody testify about why this software is so incredibly well-liked? There are other very good partitioning tools out there, so I'm truly curious but don't want to try it until I know more.

OK, answering my own question: apparently I'd installed an earlier version, so it passed muster back then. I installed it, and it very smoothly removed the old one first and installed the new one in the same spot on my D: drive very quickly. It was trivial to register.
I ran it. I have a lot of disks and a LOT of partitions. It took a minute for it to gather all the necessary info, but the main screen works like all the top partition tools, uses standards like menus and a resizeable window, and is very professional-looking. Assuming the roll-back feature really works well and fast, and all the other advertised features work as promised, I can see that this is excellent software. Perhaps the best in its field.
And if it really is a lifetime license with updates, then I understand the unprecedented 48 up-votes and 0 down-votes.

Ray, The license is lifetime but the updates are only for version 9.X.X Should they jump to version 10, no more updates.
I shall give it a shot and compare it to my AOMEI Backupper/Partition program as well as the Macorit program I have.

Not only it's a partition manager, but has several other nice tools, including disk cloning. It's a keeper for me.
