I do not see any way to have this software see my existing video files - it does not seem to have any feature that scans my storage to make a list of videos found.

Also, the help is a mess, full of dll errors and no images.

Clues?

How do I have it see a video I already have?

What is this software supposed to do?

I do not get it.

To import all your existing video files:
1.- Go to "File/New" or press ctrl+N.
2.- In the dialogue that appears choose the tab "Video Files". Here you can define the file formats you want to import and the place to import it to.
3.- Click on Search. You will then have all your video files listen on the right.hand panel.
4.- Choose which ones to import by selecting "Add to My Film Kiosk".
5.- Right-click on the list to investigate other possibilities.

I dont use windows XP anymore so this UI design that looks like windows XP is outdated. And I've been using youtube-dl python script program to download youtube videos so this program is redundant to install in my machine.

There are several skins you can choose from. So the look of the UI is quite flexible. To choose a different skin do as follows:

1.- Select "Tools/Options".
2.- Choose a different skin under "Interface Style". You may like the one called "Black". There is also one called "Halloween" for the upcoming season.

The main advantage of My Film Kiosk over using youtube-del by itself is the capacity to build-up a centralised video library and the built-in video player. All in one application.

Installed and registered successfully, rebooted clicked search YouTube, Metallica, nothing comes up, tried searching anything, the list is empty, tried updating it, up to date, uninstalled. (win 10 home 64 bit)
