Well I can see there are many opinions here about this software. And that is just what they are opinions some based in fact, some out of fear.

Being a computer technician, I learned the hard way as we all did no doubt. But I have found, that is your not familiar with any kind of software, especially cleaners and the like and your not absolutely sure what it exactly does or it gives you no warning or offers a backup, then it probably is a good one to stay away from.

All too many times I have used these so called cleaners that insist they are the best and do the most (yes they do the most alright) only to find out I had to reinstall my OS. Is it worth that chance? Sure if you wish to go all through the mess a software has created especially those that delete out of the registry system or the system files and give you no really clear understandable reason why.

I use these three cleaners and have had no problem with them so far that is, CCLeaner, Wise Cleaner and Jet Clean. I have had problems with Glary Utilities, Privazer made a mess of things and this one that deleted things it should not have with no way to undo it, not at that time that is. I certainly will not install this again to find that out either!

A cleaner is one things, a destroyer is another, never mess with the registry and I do not care how great they make it sound, especially if your not sure how it will affect your computer. This has been told a 1000 times already and will no doubt be told another 1000 times and people just do not listen. Not all computers are the same and we never know how any individual computer will react with some softwares, just be careful...

If your not totally sure of what any cleaner is doing, and they do not tell you exactly what they are doing and they do not offer a way to exempt a directory or file from cleaning, that is a good one to stay away from.

This is just my opinion, nothing more, the thing is, use wisdom rather than find out, you have to reinstall your OS again...

I had to format and re-install Windows after using this program. It will remove system files if your not careful! Ccleaner is much safer program.

Just a note to remember after installing.
The installation process will put two icons on your desktop, one for DUMo updates and SUMo updates. I have neither one of these programs, so they got deleted, but more importantly, in OPTIONS ---> SETTINGS you must remember to uncheck UPDATE DETECTION and then click SAVE. If you don't click SAVE, then it will automatically default to check for updates each time you start the program.
I am a little nervous about this one, as "bettersafethansorry" has noted below, but will give it a go. Good luck.
