A 1 year licence for a video converter is rare, so probably won't go down well.
Another vendor that promotes that their product is 30x+ faster but some of the competition is already at the same level.
Claims Windows 10 support, so hopefully that will be a sign of development progress.
Also claims support for 4k output, so that may be worth trying.
NVIDIA® CUDATM, AMD® and Intel® CoreTM support, which is good but another vendor not taking advantage of Intel Quicksync, although it does say in the changelog 'Newly-added support for Intel and AMD graphics accelerating to speed up video conversion dramatically.' which creates some confusion on that aspect.
'Remove DRM protections from WMV, M4V, WMA, M4P, M4B, etc. legally.'
Legally depends on the laws of the prevailing land, for which there will be few that don't recognise that attempting to break DRM would be largely illegal and I'm doubtful of whether it will really have the ability to remove it but somebody I'm sure will test it to see.
I do think that some of these vendors should run their language conversions and phrases though more effective translation processes because when I read 'Funny editing features' it does make me wonder what message they are attempting to impart.
Solely because of the 1 year licence I'm not going to even try this offering unless they confirm Quicksync support or somebody on here gives it rave reviews.
@Leph: You find it in the "What´s new"-Tab on the homepage:
What's New in Version 7.3.0.3 (May. 22th, 2015)
1. Fully support Win10;
2. Supported to output 4K videos;
3. Increased program stability;
4. Fixed other known bugs.
Bit of a rip off. The programme only allows video conversion using the provided product key. To use other functions like burning you have to buy extra keys.
As it stands you can only burn 5 minutes of video/DVD.
This program refuses to install on a Windows XP Professional desktop, despite what system requirements says. It is also not suitable for Windows 10 according to the system requirements.
The software only comes with a 1 year licence. It normally costs $35.95 to buy the program but you can get a special price of $28.79 if you buy now, instead of paying the normal price of $47.98.
If the program normally costs $35.95, how does a licence normally cost $47.98?
Sorry, it is not worth bothering with! There are plenty of others, free and paid for, which do install on XP and 10.
Derek.
No problems installing on XP Pro.
However, uninstalled when realised was basically a trial program and it would not remove DRM on a BBC IPlayer download.
