Icomancer è un compositore di icone per cartelle destinato ai sistemi Microsoft Windows. Il suo unico scopo è quello di aiutare l'utente ad identificare rapidamente le cartelle assegnando ad esse delle icone speciali molto belle da vedere.

Alcuni software, consentono di assegnare delle icone preimpostate alle cartelle. Icomancer va al di là di questo, permettendo di regolare l'aspetto delle icone fin nei minimi dettagli. Il colore non è l'unica cosa che conta, è possibile utilizzare delle texture nelle cartelle, le proprie foto, creare icone personalizzate e condividerle online con la nostra community!

Creando un account sul server della nostra comunity, sarete in grado di condividere le vostre creazioni con gli altri utenti, scaricare contenuti creati dagli altri ed ottenere vari extra:

Ciao a tutti, questo programma per WINDOWS sembra carino, molto interessante; lo scarico e poi se mi ricordo digito le mie impressioni in merito, ciao.

Scaricato due volte, aperto sia con 7zip che col programma interno di windows7, esce una finestrella che dice: "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program".
Naturalmente ho decompresso il file zip in una singola cartella, con tutti i file dentro.

Yet on the site it states "Yes, icomancer is not shareware. It's free for personal and commercial use for individuals and small-sized companies. Medium to big companies are requested to buy a corporate license pack."

I don't think medium to big companies are on this site testing software so is this a mistake by GOTD or is the info from LAVA SoftWorks misleading.

There's no limitation on functionality for free users. The limitation is based on content: you'll not be able to get premium content unless you purchase a standard license.

If the netframe work bothers you on this, Irfanview can do a "save as" to any of your pictures to an ico file wherein you are able to use your own pictures to create icons by using "properties" on the file and selecting "change icon", etc.
