what would be useful to see what this is really intended for is the dev creating a video of themselves or an experienced user demonstrating this program in use in day to day desktop windows activities, reading mail, browsing the web... switching between guesturing for this and typing on the keyboard etc. Not a screen capture but a real 3rd person view video. Unless this can be demonstrated to have some utility it will not get a good reception as it looks like someones just tried to impliment cam captured guestures as an experiment to see if it can be done but not made it useful gui control interface... looks like the user will sit there waving frantically at the web cam when they could have just used a track pad, mouse or touch screen and saved a lot of effort and CPU resource and not look like they are having some kind of siezure!

TK, you are absolutely right, this is not for every day users. I spend 10 hours a day on the computer and can not imaging waving all day at the camera, your arms will fall apart and the persons around you will think it is a new game or exercise or you have gone mad..

Any app or software program that requires the use of your Webcam to work is dangerous and a security risk! Without a doubt the developers have access to your Webcam because you give them permission, but you don't know who else can access your Webcam stream. There is a reason that IT Techs and Computer Security experts ALWAYS cover their Webcam unless they are actually using it.
Secondly, how is this more efficient than using a mouse or a track pad? If you have the strength and dexterity to suspend your hand in space and make rotational gestures, then you can certainly manipulate a regular pointing device with a lot less effort.

Where does my cat fit into the equation? (Cat jumps on desk to get onto lap, tail - if not entire cat - will pass in front of the camera.)

emaureen, If you are willing to pay for a custom made version maybe I will succeed to implement a cat filter :-)
