I do not understand : Thunderbird with Lightning (calendar/todo/scheduler) do all off this and more, is free and open sourced and better and better at each release...

I'm sure that this has interesting features which aren't available elsewhere, but they're behind the times. Google Docs has been replaced by Google Drive. Google is all about the cloud, all of your files and settings are synchronized with the cloud and across all of your devices automatically. Google is making more and more available offline, but there's not a lot of times when Google devices are offline. New Google phones and tablets have WiFi and 3G+, word is Google, and I think it's Dish Network or something, are going to form a new LTE network on new frequencies. Google bought Motorola Mobility some time ago, right now they're using various manufacturers but I expect that they'll soon do more of their own design work. Google is always rolling out new features, my account has already been upgraded (beta) to search across the web, Google Drive, Gmail, etc. My Gmail account has been upgraded (beta) to provide instant Gmail search, Contacts, etc. So I already have Google integrated search across the web, files, Gmail, etc. I have the Gmail mobile-friendly beta (I think that there may be bugs in conversation handling). Like I said, Google is continually improving and integrating their products, and as Microsoft screws up the PC side, I'm using more Google devices and services and may switch to Apple on the desktop.
Just installed - went smooth. It's a neat proggy if you are a heavy google email/cal/drive user. Makes it a lot easier to view contacts and take action on them.
However I experienced some program errors when using the calendar and scrolling in the calendar is clumsy. When editing some appointments it would give minor errors but never crash the whole program.
Overall its useful, but clearly not mission critical.

Rispondo volentieri al commendo dell'utente C@ZZ@, il cuni nick gia' fapensare a che persona possa essere colui che ha lasciato per l'appunto un commento che soltanto un ragazzino di 16 anni poteva fare. Innanzitutto a chi e' del settore, cioe' chi di informatica ne capisce veramente e ci lavora da TANTI anni, la EverEZ non e' un nome nuovo. Esiste da ben 16 anni, guardacaso gli stessi del poppante che si e' preso pure la briga di scrivere e mettere cosi', tantop perche un CAZZO veramente non ci capisce un pollice "verso" al programma in questione. Ovviamente tale persona non ci capisce nemmeno una mazza di inglese, perche' se avesse letto come funziona il programma forse almeno si sarebbe stato zitto. Ma tanto non e' stato e ha dimostrato come LUI e MOLTI ALTRI UTENTI giarano il web solo per scaricare cose pirata o se possibili gratis (regalate in questo caso).
Quindi vorrei gentilmente che tali persone prima di parlare quantomeno dichiarassero:
- ETA'
- Che tipo di studi hanno intrapreso,
- Che lavoro fanno
- Quanto di informatica ne capiscono e che conoscenze hanno
- Che non sappiano accendere solo un pc e scaricare come PECORE da emule o altro software simile, pensando o credendo e magari spacciandosi di essere esperti informatici.
- QUANTO DI INGLESE NE CAPISCONO (importante sul web)
- se hanno mai utilizzato in vita loro un client di posta elettronica, che non sia un servizio web tipo libero (la merda in assoluto) tiscali, alice o altri servizi simili (escludendo google che e' un mondo a parte)
- Se avendo un account Google abbiano mai utlizzato tutte le sue innumerevoli funzioni (non credo per il cazzone che ha scritto il commento)
- E chi piu' ne ha piu' ne metta! (sempre informaticamente parlando).
Dopo questa lunga sequenza all'utente testa di minkia che si firma C@ZZ@: vorrei chiederti gentilmente di non commentare software che non sai nemmeno a cosa e a chi possa servire, xhe' purtroppo (per te ovvio) mette in luce la tua deficienza in informatica ma soprattutto come persona in mezzo ad altre persone (non e' che tutti debbano per forza avere la sfiga di leggerti e, non sia mai, di conoscerti pure!!).
Ritornando al software vorrei capire, caro testa di minkia, dove cazzarola hai letto e, nel caso tu l'abbia installato, che tipo di ricerche, esami, programmi di controllo, ricerche web in forum stranieri, (ci metterei anche reverse engineriing) tu abbia fatto e ti abbiano portato a dire che non bisogna fidarsi di questo software riguardo la sicurezza!!!
NON SEI NEMMENO ANDATO A GUARDARE SUL SITO E LO SCONSIGLI CALDAMENTE!!
Ma se non sai nemmneo cosa cazzo possa fare questo software!! Ma ti rendi conto di quanto dimostri di essere COGLIONE????
Ma statti a casuccia tua con mamma e papa' e fatti dare i soldi della paghetta mensile e comprate 2 riviste di informatica SERIA, cosi' almeno la smetti di dire minkiate una dietro l'altra!!!!
Che gente di merda che ci dobbiamo trovare pure di fronte!! Altro che tu senti la puzza.. LA PUZZA e' la tua visto che sei merda!!!!

Penso che GAOTD avesse già provveduto a risolvere il problema circa 4 ore prima che tu lasciassi il tuo commento. Hai provato a seguire la Nuova procedura di installazione? è spiegato tutto nei minimi dettagli come devi fare per installare e attivare il software, non dovrebbero esserci altri problemi.

MA SECONDO VOI C'è DA FIDARSI A INSTALLARE UN SOFTWARE SCONOSCIUTO DI GESTIONE DELLE EMAIL CHE SALVA TUTTI I TUOI DATI E CHE PROBABILMENTE SCARICA DI CONTINUO NEI SERVER DELLA EVERDESK MIGLIONI DI BYTES!!!
E POI CI LAMENTIAMO CHE LE NOSTRE PASSWORD NON SONO SICURE!
QUESTO SOFTWARE LO SCONSIGLIO CALDAMENTE (E MENO MALE CHE NON HO INSTALLATO ANCHE LA PRECEDENTE VERSIONE DI QUALCHE SETTIMANA FA..) E DEVO ANCHE SOMMINISTRARE UNA BELLA SUPPOSTONA AL TEAM GAOTD, VISTO CHE QUESTA VOLTA HANNO DAVVERO SORPASSATO QUEL SOTTILE FILO DI FIDUCIA CHE DOVREBBE UNIRE UTENTI E AMMINISTRATORI. aNDATE SUL SITO DELLA EVERDESK E DITEMI SE TROVATE UN QUALSIASI ACCENNO AI RESPONSABILI DEL SOFTWARE..(IO NON HO ANCORA GUARDATO, MA HO SENTITO UNA PUZZA.....)

Ho avuto problemi nell'istallazione del programma di oggi: EverDesk Google Edition, quindi ho proceduto alla disistallazione.
Ho poi scaricato di nuovo il programma ma ora non si istalla più.
Potete provvedere a risolvere il problema, grazie.

Dear users,
please note that the installation and license activation procedures are slightly different for today's giveaway. In order to make it easier to provide the software as part of the giveaway, we have made these changes with the EverEZ team.
Here's how it works:
- Clicking on the GOTD download link will direct you to the EverDesk website first.
- Here you have to create a new EverDesk account. Your free GOTD license is issued to the email address you use to create your account.
(If you already have an EverDesk account, then log in with the email address and the password you used when registering the account).
- Fill in the form to create your EverDesk account. Make sure to use promotion code GOTDEDG when creating your account to get your free GOTD license (depending on the browser your promotion code may already be pre-entered). Once your account is created, you will receive an email with a validation link to confirm your email address. After validation your free license is automatically issued and you will be logged in your EverDesk account where you will see the link to download EverDesk Google Edition to your computer.
- If you have a Google mail or Apps account, you can create your EverDesk account with your Google credentials. In this case you do not have to validate your email address and you will be logged in youir EverDesk account right away, where you will see and the link to download EverDesk Google Edition to your computer.
- Using the download link, download and install the EverDesk software.
- When you first start EverDesk, enter your email address and password that you used to create your account, and your license will be activated (make sure you are online).
That's it - you're now ready to start using EverDesk.
