Well, it works pretty well and does its job as it claims....

Can find the duplicate images on your drives according by their content instead of by size, name or last modified date; then it lets you remove them with ease, regardless of the output format, size or location.

So absolutely a keeper but only for those having to deal with tons of pictures stored in the HD of their PC.

But how about other file formats??

Why is this my First choice?
Simply because, unlike any other similar free and even paid products out there, this magic FREE app not only finds & deletes duplicate files, but it's even able to replace duplicate files with NTFS hard links as well (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_links). And it's also PORTABLE!!!!
Supports path longer than 260 characters and alternate NTFS-streams.

Installed and registerd without problems on a Win 8.1 64 bit system.

A company without an address or information about the company. On a further look a Chinese company which offers English-Chinese translation services and software of all kind.

After installation and program start a window opens, which cannot be resized, a non-standard user interface, understandable, but not well made. The same the homepage, which really looks self&handmade. Fancy&colorfull. But okay, let's test.

I scan a drive with some twenty thousand documents, a small part of it images. You can choose, which picture formats to scan. I selected .jpg.

The program seems to compare by size, not by checksum. It scans quite fast and comes with a new, greater result window, which can be resized and the information about scanned data, time, found duplicates :

Scanned : 148 GB for 20.000 files in 5.000 folders
Found : 28 MB for 425 duplicate pictures in 120 groups.
Spent : Did all above in 12 seconds.

The pictures are displayed and you can choose which to select, delete to recycle bin or directly, save the result and so on. Makes a good impression despite of the cruel colors of the window in a somehow Win 8 look.

A good duplicate picture scanner, does not find similar pictures by content.

Will not replace my CloneSpy (freeware) which I use since look as a reliable duplicate file finder.

Downloaded and installed without problems, opened to a simple to use interface.
Unfortunately had two problems with it,
Crashed when trying to select individual folders.
When it scanned a drive it claimed to have found many pictures in the statistics but nothing was listed.
Did this a couple of times with the same result.

Decided to give #4 John’s recommendation a try, that is Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder it is Free and available at the following link:-

It worked beautifully, so today's offering will be uninstalled and the above which is Portable will be kept.

This program does not find duplicates by content. This is misleading on their homepage. It can only find duplicates by the exact size, NOT by content, NOT by checksum.

As noted by others and shame on me for missing the comments, the app installs the Search Conduit search redirection malware, taking over whatever browser you are using.

Cons
Installed Conduit, KEYBAR, MALWARE and search hijacking. This is inexcusable. Corrupted my IE, FIREFOX, and CHROME setups.
**Worst of all is that it was moderately difficult to remove.
Summary
DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I SPENT HOURS REMOVING SPYWARE AND MALWARE FROM MY PC AFTER INSTALLING.
