Yet when you go to download, it's only standard edition!
This GAOTD is undoubtely one of the best software out there to record and listen to Internet Radio Stations. Can load podcast programs, record music/video streams ore just single songs, as well as convert audio and video files and rip DVDs.
But what is offered here is once again only the STANDARD (= LIMITED) version of the full program.
Actually they are also giving away a special edition of this program here (don't know what's the difference among the two):

THUMBS UP to the software but THUMBS DOWN on this policy to give us only the outdated/limited version of the main program, in the hope we buy the full one.

I have this from another giveaway and that version had an option to make an portable version, I am THINK that this version can also be made portbable.
@Jay The price part of the description says "The program is available for $59.90 (for Platinum Edition), but it will be free..." BlankGuy's point (and mine) is that the $59.90 version is not being given away. This is false advertising. It expects you to get the standard version today, see what you are missing, then pay to upgrade to the Platinum edition. To me, this is deceit.
Something is confused. I installed and all went well, but the version is not registered and does not have the features like streaming capture and DVD function active. There's an UPGRADE button that says it will activate those for $39.90. The page here is also very misleading, it says PLATINUM in some places and STANDARD in others, neither of which do you get with the download as it is. The company web site is also very confusing, it implies all the features are in the demo version, the tutorials for audials 1 (sometimes called 10!?!) and tell you go "go to audials movie box" but no clue as to how... it doesn't appear to be in this software at all.
Hey, I may be missing it, but I've been a software product manager for 20 years. If I can't figure it out, lots of folk can't.

Devo ammettere che questo e' uno dei pochissimi programmi che non son riuscito a installare....o meglio, si e' installato, sia in versione pc sia in versione su chiavetta usb....pero' non e' mai funzionato...peccato perche conosco da qualche anno questo programma e so che e' davvero ottimo...
Spero che venga riproposto al piu presto.....
