This is a fun little program. Installed on Win 7 Professional 64 bit without difficulty. Lots of options and after only a few moments playing around with it I was ready to buy the Deluxe version (and would have if there had been a discount offered.)
You have control over 18 background sounds such as rain, wind, campfire, ocean, and stream, and 60 random sounds including various insects, birds, wind chimes and thunder rolls. You have access to 10 presets, but can load additional presets if desired. You can also record what you are listening to. The program also includes an alarm function.
You also have control over Master volume, Background sounds volume, and random sounds volume.
There are a lot of options to play around with and as mentioned above, after only a few minutes of experimentation, I knew this one was a keeper.
@3 - TK - Whether the versions are called "Plus", "Pro", "Standard", "Home" or "Lite" really isn't important. While you might consider the "Deluxe" version has "standard" features for you... my father would probably disagree and see the "Deluxe" version as "Super-Ultra-Professional".
There is a commercial reason why programmers offer versions with more features at a higher cost. And perhaps many users would purchase the Deluxe version anyway - but there would be users who have no desire to import anything, other than the other "expansion scenarios". For users who do not need the additional features, there is the "Lite Plus" available at roughly half the cost.
I disagree with your comments that supporting only WAV import is that big a restriction. Sure there are numerous other file formats that are open and free, but it is a trivial exercise to do whatever formatting and editing is required - using far more capable audio tools (eg. Audacity). Then when finished - output your final files as WAV and import into Atmosphere.
The same applies for the fact that 'Lite Plus' isn't a Wav editor. That's OK, when you can prepare and perfect your sound files using dedicated sound tools.
It would be a different situation (and restriction) entirely if the program didn't have the ability to import sound files at all (as is the case with "Atmosphere Lite").
Update: Nick, from Vectormedia software has just mentioned (comment 85) that todays giveaway CAN import WAV, MP3 and OGG. The website was incorrect, and has now been updated.
Responding to Ben about creating Slide shows...
I was able to create a number of folders and slide shows without any difficulty.
First I clicked on Visual Options.
Second I clicked on "Open Slideshow Folder" at the bottom of the Slideshow Configuration Screen, and after the folder was opened I created a new folder and then copied a number of my own photos into it.
I then went back into the program and clicked on "Select Slideshow Folder." (At the top of the Slideshow Configuration screen)
I selected my newly created folder and Bingo! It ran through my photos without any difficulty.
By the way, to watch the slide show full screen simply double click on the thumbnail version at the top left of the program screen. To remove the full screen slides simply double click on the full screen. The program itself can be minimized to the Icon tray. After closing out the full screen mode it pops back up.

P.S. Listening through headphones the sound quality came across to my ears as comparable to the professionally recorded and produced nature CD's I own.
I like this program more and more as I use it.

This is slightly better than the free version, but still lacks some features such as Equalizer, MP3 import, presets etc,. Anyway good gotd!

#14 b66: Prima di sputare sentenze e parlare di ignoranza, valuta meglio ciò che scrivi, il problema è sì delle directx, ma Popof non lo risolverà con la reinstallazione (è la prima cosa che si prova a fare in questi casi) ma è dovuto a un conflitto in alcune configurazioni, come correttamente spiegato da Cerbotto.

Ho provato ad installarlo, niente di che. In compenso, dopo la disinstallazione, allo spegnimento del pc mi è comparsa la schermata blu di errore irreversibile. Su XP sp3.

#POPOF, nnn c'è modo di risolvere il tuo problema, si tratta semplicemente di un BUG del SOFTWARE ke si manifesta su alcuni PC che hanno una certa configurazione.
Impossibile, anche per i GEEK, risolvere i problemi di registrazione delle .dll intervenendo sul pc. Bisogna solo aspettare l'uscita di una eventuale nuova versione.
PS: ringrazio VANYA per i suoi kommenti sempre molto illuminanti... alla NINO! Ma Vanya non era quello ke qualche mese fa proponeva di boicottare la sezione italiana e di trasferirsi tutti sul forum??

Succede solo a me? Cliccando su "IGNORA"il programma si installa ugualmente ma alcune funzioni, naturalmente, sono fuori uso: per esempio (non so se sia correlato all'impossibilità di registrare quella DLL) non funziona il registratore. O meglio: funziona, ma il file audio salvato non emette alcun suono.
Qualcuno saprebbe dirmi quale sia esattamente l'errore riportato nella notifica e come si possa risolvere? Ciao a tutti
