Excellent program for photo collection enthusiasts!

Very easy to use thanks to its intuitive wizards, so it's perfect even for noobs or for the average Joe users.

Can also be used to create compelling greeting cards or photo collages to share on social networks.... that's COOL!

SPAM is a false and silly issue since you can always use disposable email services or unsubscribe from their newsletter.

Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit system.

A German company with all legal information as required (name, address, tax-number...).

This is Ashampoo Photo Commander 11, the company is known for promoting the latest version by giveaway for free the previous versions. The new version 12 is on the market for $ 49,99.

The software is good and Ashampoo is a company strong in marketing. Without that, they would not be a successful as they are.

If you can live with the last year version, than take this. It is an excellent and complete photo tool. There are so many test on the web, that I need not to add the 154th version.

I keep it, it replaces my version 10, which I use quite regularly.

I too replaced my earlier version of Photo Commander 10. I first installed this version to a new folder. After I was sure everything worked I uninstalled version 10. Everything went perfectly smooth and easy.

As for the issue of spam from Ashampoo there is an easy solution. Go to this link and log into your account..

Choose "Settings" and then uncheck all of the newsletters if you don't wish to receive them. That's all you need to do. You can also use a throw away email address to receive your key. But having an account with Ashampoo will give you access to all of your keys from every Ashampoo program. If you purchase the software from them you will always be able to download it here. If it's a giveaway, you must keep the install file if you can.

All in all I am pleased to upgrade to a newer version. Thank you GOTD team and Ashampoo GmbH & Co.

Have this since June 2014 from another giveaway.
It is good.
I like it that Ashampoo keeps a log of all the Ashampoo software registered under any particular user's name, complete with the serial keys on their server. So if one need to reinstall, no problem.

I primarily use ACDSee (paid). Then Zoner Photo Studio and Ashampoo Photo Commander.

Most of my friends who are photography hobbyists, use Lightroom.
I actually bought a retail copy of Lightroom (in CD Rom) of it in the past but never bothered to open the pack. Because ACDSee was doing a sterling job.

Now that Adobe has introduced MONTHLY PAYABLE business model for their popular software; and cutting off their pay-only-once CD Rom products; it is a good idea to reject Adobe software, if you can.

I presume when greed becomes overpowering some software developer will introduce a DAILY PAYABLE business model. Way to go, Gordon Gekko.
