If you value your browser screen space and don't want your home page hijacked to Ashampoo, choose the Custom installation when offers the options to avoid this and untick the three lower options which otherwise would install the Ashampoo Toolbar and make your browser homepage the Ashampoo website.
This is not very ethical tactics Ashampoo. You have greyed out the options not to install all this unnecessary crap and newer users will fall in to your trap - which was, after all, your intention. You try and intimidate by stating the custom install is for advanced users when all it does is give peole the option to avoid installing your unnecessary rubbish. Shame on you.
After that tirade, the programme installed and registered fine on Windows XP Pro Dual core 32 bits.
Product is great but underlying tactics of this company leave something to be desired. Leave the browser and homepage hijackers to the crooks -- you're supposed to be a legit company!
Excellent software! Installation was easy and so was the registration. Took less then a minute to register.
Burnt a DVD and a small home movie for test with little data and it all went smoothly. Anyone installing this software should make sure they pick custom installation and uncheck toolbar installation option.

Ashampoo products are always very good and this is no exception. I will not be downloading this as I already have it. Unlike some burners it is simple and logical to use, you are never guessing if you selected the right item from the menu. I have been using Ashampoo Burning Studio since version 6 and never had a problem. The only thing I would say is to use a disposable email address for registration as they love to send you offers very regularly.
If you have firefox you can't uninstall the tool bar but you can go and uncheck the toolbar in tools. The tool bar is still there it just won't be active. I agree with the previous person VERY UNETHICAL

il programma è andato bene per un periodo di tempo, ma subito dopo esce una scritta di mettere il codice,intanto mi dice di continuare.Mi sembra una bufala, scusatemi se sono franco.Comunque grazie lo stesso, avete tutta la mia ammirazione.

Ottimo programma: lo utilizzo da diversi anni, con piena soddisfazione, in alternativa ai soliti noti. Considerata la gratuità, lo consiglio vivamente e lo giudico tra gli "imperdibili". Per quanto detto: Pollice su.

leggete il readme per l'istallazione, consiglio quella personalizzata per evitarci barre e cacate varie e di non avviarlo subito dopo l'istallazione,
andate sul sito inserito nel readme, registratevi, basta la mail e nell'immediato arriva il codice da inserire appena avviato il programma!

grande patacca..!! non funziona sta cosa..ho perso 2 ore per masterizzare una dozzina di mp3 on cd trova sempre qualche escuza qualche gratta capo,alla fine ho masterizzato con wmp e va liscio,dal'altronde ashampo crea dei software con tracer ed alla fine bombardarti di offerte,proposte etc..
