I remember this from previously. As I recall, when using it, it worked fabulously - I was immensely happy and impressed with its capabilities. However, when I was NOT actually downloading, it was extremely annoying in that it popped up on every little thing wherever I went - which would be great if I was in constant downloading mode, but aggravating the other 99% of the time. I kept looking for some way to be able to turn it off & on from the Taskbar without having to kill it from the Task Manager, but i could never find it. I finally uninstalled it as simply too annoying. This may be my fault, but by the time I discovered the problem, the download day was over, and as you know, there is no support for gaotd customer/versions. IS there a simple way to turn it off & then back on? And if so, does it require the webpage to be reloaded? Thanks.

The problem with sw like this is that it needs to be updated frequently to work properly, so if you don't to spend any money you are obliged to switch to freeware programs like this:

It says that it is version Pro (promo for GiveawayOfTheday.com but the pro features are not working -
they still demand to buy the version Pro

The last time this was offered by GAOTD was when I downloaded it. It was nice, BUT, it caused a stutter in FireFox, or, in other words, every few seconds, FireFox would lock up. It was not only annoying but shows poor programming.
So, when not using it, I disable it in FireFox.
But... what i would like to know is, is that fixed now or is it still there? If its still there, I won't bother downloading it.

had this software when offered earlier and removed it due to some bug which I do not remember anymore. However, I notice that there are questions in this Forum which have not been attended to by the Company offering this product. So once again, is this Download Manager reliable?
