I downloaded, installed, and played commercial "A Christmas Carol" Blu-ray Disc (BD), and I completely disagree with Giovanni.
Aiseesoft Blu-ray Player 6.1.3 smoothly plays this disc "with menu" whereas DAPlayer ends up giving 400 error. I have observed this problem with DAP several times before, and the problem still continues (their customer service also said sorry to me). My conclusion is that DAPlayer cannot play a purchased disc (it may play pirated BDs but I don't know).
Naturally, this GAOTD gets a thumbs up from me. Very nice interface, apparently faster than my Roxio CinePlayer (came with the system) but I don't like that they advertise when you start this player although you got a license, else they would get two thumbs up from me.
P.S. I would strongly suggest Giovanni to comment after testing since many of his recommendations just FAIL. He is a good contributor but he should not just google, and suggest something randomly.
Download n installed. Made it my default player on win 9. Funny I clicked a movie I downloaded earlier, The player loaded but I have to manually click the menu "open file" whereas I usual deafault player directly open any movie I clicked. Made my VLC player my default player again.
Compared to this paid version player from aiseesoft, I would personally recommend users to download the free VLC player instead. You can watched any type from movie files in one click.
