;) ) allora
è meglio usare Google Calendar senza spendere soldi per programmini
monofunzione come questi...

@Stefano.
Tutto serve ... a me no, in questo caso. tuttavia: thank's GAODT

There are so many calendars available to keep track things like birthday. I do need another program to "stays in the system tray", slow down my computer and cost $40. I pass.

I don't mean to be rude in any respect, but isn't this already built into Windows by default?

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Task Scheduler

I have to say I'll be skipping this one, sorry :/

As for the price, remember that much of the software being given away here is the first time it's been offered to the public. They're looking for feedback on the price, the way it works, how well it works, your general impressions, and why you like it, or why you don't. Comparing freeware to it isn't a bad idea, either, because it lets the developers know how it compares. They're interested in things like: "Is it easier to use than other programs, freeware of commercial programs?"

I don't feel we can legitimately complain about the price. Some here call the freely offered programs a rip-off, and they're being offered for free. It's better to give feedback like: "The regular price is a bit steep since X program does the same thing for $30 less, or Y program is free and has most of the same features."

I'm not interested in this program because I have other ways of getting reminders: Outlook at work, and Essential PIM (free version) at home. Both work well and do other things this doesn't claim to do. Essential PIM has a free version that works well for me. If you have Windows 7 or Vista, there's Windows Live Mail, which is similar to Outlook.

I think it could be marketed as a calendar program instead of a simple birthday reminder program. The current name of the product makes it sound like that's the only thing it does. Lower the price and change the title and they might be able to market it successfully.

1.I can’t help thinking forty bucks is kinda steep… unless the target market is “people who have 10000 or more Facebook friends.” A truly “comprehensive toolkit” with that price tag shuldn’t just keep track of important dates, it should buy and wrap presents and go to birthdays in your place so you can stay in bed and sleep.

As someone who knows to keep her auto-starts to a minimum... why would I personally want to spend $40 dollars for a program that tells me when it's someone's birthday? I don't love anyone that much ;) ^^

And a program that's limited in its applications such as this one, when all one needs to do is have a different 'calendar' program that will do the same thing and more... Or for those who really like to streamline there's always google calendar ^^

No seriously, these are questions that bear being answered, and I'd like to hear a response from it's creator. Some of the other programs you offer look somewhat interesting, (not personally, but I could see the applications to it via the descriptions) however this program really discredits those other programs; Many wouldn't choose to even consider looking at the rest if this is their initial exposure to Orgbusiness If you do desire offering this program (which honestly, I'd refrain from...) I'd encourage it to be freeware only. Even then you'll be hard-pressed to get many who download it, but at least it wouldn't be as insulting to your target audience as a $40 price tag such as this. If you really want to offer a program like this, you'd need to improve upon it to the point where it'd be superior to programs such as Rainlender. Honestly, was just doing a search on free calendars and there's tons of them! As I said, it'd be nice to hear from Orgbusiness about this program and to have our comments/questions answered...
