Doubtless there will be the "why are there so many thumbs down with no comments" comments.
Well, it's because these sorts of programs are offered so often when there are so many free alternatives.
I (and I'm sure many others) see no need to waste bandwidth let alone real dollars for software that is either bundled with an operating system or can be obtained for free to do exactly the same job. The developers really need to look at the marketplace before they spend their precious time working on a product that has to compete with FREE.
Sometimes paid for software has the edge, but in the case of such a crowded marketplace (the free alternatives are competing with each other! - I'm sure Giovanni will provide a list), why would you honestly bother?
I know I'm not being "in the spirit" of GAOTD, but developers need to be made aware of the value of their products in the marketplace, not just issues with the interface or bugs.

I was delighted when I saw what is on offer. I have been looking for a good quality slideshow maker for some time. But I have to say that this piece of software hasn’t won my heart.
The installation was without any problems, but you have to read the readme file first.
Registration worked fine.
The software is capable of importing photos and sound and making a slideshow out of it. However, the number of transition effects is limited and you cannot record your own comments. There is no possibility to add any text or anything to it.
If you want to take your photos and make a slideshow quickly, then it is the software for you. If you want to make a nice and useful slideshow you have to look somewhere else.
The best software is probably Photostage by NCH. http://www.nchsoftware.com/slideshow/index.html

Well it downloaded and set up fine on my New legit Windows 7 Dell N5050 3 attempts at trying to do a very large test with 1200 pics @ 3.9meg each, 5 minutes into each attempt an error box pops up saying an error has occurred please reset and try again, resetting for an unknown error does not work if you have no clue what the error is and whats causing it, uninstalling..I appreciate the effort :-)

@6,didnt want to waste time on just doing a few pictures when I needed them all to go on one disk instead of wasting multiple disks, when using my NTI $80 burning software program had no problem doing 1200 pics and did it in less than 20 minutes with music, so here I stress tested, found an unknown unexplained bug that maybe the developer can figure out and fix to make his product work perfectly instead of making everyone mad after they paid the $15 and screw up, Make Sense??.... Have a Great Day Charlie :-)
