Tested BOTH Photo Stamp Remover and Inpaint (recently offered on GOTD) on the same 6 images.
Conclusion: Will definitely stay with Inpaint!
Main reasons: Quality of results, ease of use, performance (both in terms of speed and accuracy).
From a previous review:-
The program features a bare minimum of commands, which should keep users of all skill levels focused. While learning the program came after some minimal effort, its results left us disappointed. The primary job of selecting an area or watermark to convert was a simple click-and-drag operation. However, the program really only succeeded in cleanly removing the pesky time stamp from the bottom corner of photos.
When the watermark consisted of multiple colors or was covering complex imagery (for example a person's face), the doctoring was highly noticeable. These tended to blur the edges of watermarks, but didn't entirely remove its presence.
Overall, the quality of the results was too varied to be a reliable way to rid a photo of watermarks
Installed very quickly on XP sp3.
I gave it the opportunity to remove a simple watermark which just said PROOF in white. I ran it and it removed the word but what it left in its place was completely unacceptable. There was obvious duplication of parts of the image it had used to replace the text and it was all very jagged. Sorry, but much more work is needed on the algorithms to make it acceptable. As it stands I can find no use for it.
Tried it out but couldn't achieve the sort of results that they had on the tutorial on their website. I've uninstalled already.
Will be interested in the comments of others - especially any suggestions on free photo editing for complete idiots? (Picasa is about my level but doesn't do photo touchups)
#8 General use try paint.net. it has layers, plug-ins and usual tools. its free. Needs .net framework but any relatively recent pc should have that. Can use clone tool to remove watermark.
Photowipe is a texture filler to remove objects. its free.

Provato installato e ... boh, fate voi. Funziona, ma non è possibile definire l'area da cui verra prelevato il pattern per la sostituzione. E' possibile anche eliminare un solo colore (selezionandolo) dall'immagine. Si può operare in modalità batch (non ho provato in cosa consista). All'avvio chiede se si vuole aggiornare, ma l'antivirus aziendale non mi permette di accedere al sito per l'aggiornamento :-) capita.
Per i soliti: per installare avviate activate.exe e poi il programma. Non stressate con "non c'è il seriale nel readme", perché non serve.
Onestamente ritengo migliore il precedentemente offerto Inpaint.
Insomma un programmino per i non professionisti e per chi si è perso i pregressi. Per gli altri ... lasciate perdere.

La funzione "Quick Remove" e' un pacco, molto meglio aspettare qualche secondo in piu' col Remove normale.
