ATTENZIONE: LA LICENZA DIFATTI NON SI ATTIVA, NONOSTANTE IL MESSAGGIO DI CONFERMA: "You have successfully registered the software, thank you for supporting us...".
Il pulsante Register apre solo la pagina per l'acquisto di licenze idoo, anzichè aprire un form di registrazione. La registrazione può essere effettuata solo alla prima crittografia di un'unità USB. Se formattate la stessa, o disinstallate la Secure Area creata, utilizzando lo stesso programma e provate a creare nuovamente una nuova "partizione sicura" sarà nuovamente riproposta la registrazione. Tra l'altro, cliccando su Help>About nella finestra principale, non viene visualizzata alcuna informazione che si tratti di una versione registrata, pur dopo aver attivato il keycode, come avviene invece per idoo Video Editor ad es., per citare un programma della stessa software house. Utilizando idoo USB Encryption tra un pò di tempo, scoprirete che non l'avevate affatto attivata in versione full. Fate una seconda prova con una seconda pennetta e verificherete.

Not a bad product today: can store encrypted and non-encrypted files on USB drives with no hassle.

But what happens if you lose the GAOTD key after a sudden PC crash?

Bitlocker by Windows does the same (HINT: if you are clever you can get the Ultimate edition for cheap quite easily....).

And anyway for this genre of sw I firmly believe that it's better switch to a FREE (and possibly portable) solution...

The obvious problem with GAOTD encryption software is that if, for whatever reason, you lose the software (re-installation of your OS for example) you're going to have to buy the software to be able to recover your data...

I use Safehouse Explorer ... it's free ... you create a "vault" with a password.

I bet Giovanni will have some cool alternatives.
