This software ended up last place in this burning software comparison .
It was even beaten by freeware burners like Imgburn and CDBurnerXP.
The 'diabolically new' user interface is certainly diabolical, and is not the best choice of words to use when advertising it.
I voted to change the name, not because it is too basic or something, but because its the same name of another software which, if I'm not mistaken, hit the market way earlier than this.
I'm referring to Golden Hawk's CDRWin, which is (or was) one of the best and most powerful tool for reading / writing CDs (and I think it supported DVDs in its latest releases, though not sure).
Although Engelmann Media's CDRWin is easy to use and works for the average person, I don't see why they had to use the name of an existing tool with a similar main purpose (I'd say functionality, but Golden Hawk's is way more powerful).
Anyway, I don't dislike this app, but I definitely think they should change the name.
This program was given begore and i had tried it.
It is decent and does what it promises but i found it a little awkward. After some days (maybe a month) of having it on my computer i uninstalled it and sticked to the free burning solution of Ashampoo that seemed to be easier to use for both beginner and advanced users.
This GAOTD has an easy to use, clear and appealing interface with lots options at users' disposal and does its job pretty quickly & flawlessly.
So THUMBS UP for me!!
That being said.... I was just wondering why one should pay 10 bucks (which is a very cheap price anyway) for a software like this if you can do the same things and more using award-winning freeware like ImgBurn, Ashampoo Burning Studio Advanced 10, Infrarecorder and/or CDBurnerXP, just to mention some of them!!!

Sul loro sito si trova CDRWIN 9 . . . . . stanno facendo pulizia per fare posto alla nuova release . . . AHAHAHA :-D.
Da un'azienda seria ti aspetti che offrano l'ultimo uscito, no il fondo di magazzino, quantomeno GAODT doveva rifiutare seguendo la sua policy.

Mesi fa (febbraio 14, 2011) è stata offerta la versione 8.0.11.01.21, questa di oggi è invece la versione 8.0.10.216. Vuol dire che la versione di oggi è una versione meno aggiornata rispetto a quella offerta precedentemente? Possibile? Cosa cambia?

PinKo, dalla tua affermazione si evince che qui spaeeo capitano swhouse ridicole e patetiche :D, sulla qualità di questo sw ci spieghi perché lo ritieni ottimo? Da prove, da chiacchere tra amici o che, visto che il tuo commento è comporso pochissimo tempo dopo che il sw è stato distribuito, quindi o ne eri già in possesso o ... non l'hai neanche provato

software che appartiene ad un settore nel quale vi sono centinaia di alternative free e non, oltretutto ognuno avra pure il suo preferito.
nulla toglie che quello di oggi sia un ottimo software di una casa produttrice seria che offre ottimi programmi.
