I've installed it in a sandbox (for safety purpose) and ran a Smart Scan. It has marked winlogon, taskmgr.exe, shell32.dll, 13 services and some other things difficult to identify as dangerous! Note that the services are listed by their file path, but the full names, descriptions and vendors of the services are not displayed, so it is extremely difficult to identify them. Now, imagine that I trust that antivirus and that it has been installed in my normal system. It would have destroyed some files vital for Windows to work properly, and I would have been unable to log in after the next reboot!

Crashed my FireFox on 1st scan :/
Got a blue screen on win7 x64.
Lucky for me that I have a backup(acronis).
So make a backup before installing/using this software.

i cant believe GOTD can put up such an newbie and untested software...

twas able to get my system running only after system restore...
GOTD should remove this offer...
atleast put up a warning that its not for win7 users...
Very intriguing application, it's tiny for a start, the entire application is all if 1.35MB. It seems to "smart scan" files based on heuristics and solely on heuristics instead of a standard pattern database alongside it.
The bad, I could not seem to "scan" a defined set of files so I was unable to try it out and that would be the only real use for this app as I'd reply on something much more comprehensive than this.. I have a pile of worms and viruses used for testing out applications such as this.
The system info was useful but nothing a free tool won't do.
I had to snigger at the slogan:

It certainly wouldn't be my first line of defense that's for sure but possibly useful.
Mine would not register. kept saying "trial only" though there was a key added:

The worst part, is the price. $40 is horrible expensive.

l'antivirus gratis della stessa casa è stato segnalato da 5 antivirus come un virus. nn posto i risultati, ma se scaricate l'exe gratis dal sito e gli fate una scansione con scanvir.org alcuni antivirus lo rilevano. questo invecie è un software rogue. mi a segnalato diversi file di sistema, ovviamente puliti e necessari per il pc, come virus pericolosi. questo software tuttavia nn è un malware ma un rogue. quando si disinstalla l'antivirus esso installa chiavi malevoli nel registro che a loro volta creeranno un file malware ke skarikerà in background altri virus da internet percio bisogna inoltre eliminare alcune chiavi di registro. conclusione è sia un programma rogue che disinstallandolo crea malware.

Ormai sto sito sta diventando una pattumiera dove vengono promossi software sconosciuti e spesso inutili, assurdi, controproducenti e quasi sempre rimpiazzabili con ALTERNATIVE FREEWARE migliori...specie quando si parla di Antivirus ma non solo (ovviamente bisogna conoscerle le alternative free...:LOL!!).
Lasciate perdere e installate l'ultimo gioiello AVAST!5 FREE ANTIVIRUS!!!
Semplicemente MICIDIALE e migliore a molti prodotti a pagamento che ho testato (for FREE of course...LOL!!).
La mia COMBINAZIONE DI TOOLS per la protezione del PC è semplicemente fantastiKa... FREE ma soprattutto IMPENETRABILE a qualsiasi HACKER che voglia mettere alla prova la mia intelligenza e SAPIENZA...LOL!
D'altronde non mi firmo SPECIAL ONE per niente...LOL!
Inutile che ve la dica perché voi siete all'A-B-C nell'uso del PC e di INTERNET...e poi è quasi tutto in ENGLISH, lingua a voi sconosciuta...LOL!

onestamente uso un antivirus free, quindi TEORICAMENTE peggiore di questo AV, ma se sto Anti-Virus Mate è sconosciuto ci sarà un motivo no? E non c'è neanche nel database di AV-COMPARATIVIES, che paragona gli antivirus gratuiti!!
Mi tengo Avira AntiVir, che è meglio anche di qalche antivirus a pagamento :)

X la sicurezza penso sia poco ragionevole affidarsi a software house semi sconosciute e impreparate come nel caso del programma offerto oggi.
Si rischia di danneggiare il sistema in modo irreversibile o di trovarsi con un falso antivirus che magari contiene qualche schifezza.
E poi come si fa a fidarsi di un produttore di un gioco totalmente sconosciuto che fa' un antivirus?
