Firstly if you don't use Microsoft Outlook as your Email Client, you can stop right here. This software is of no use to you.
(But it can be fun to read how some programmers can invent a solution looking for a problem).
Advanced Email Printer is an add-in to MS Outlook. Systweak refer to it as "Reverse Email Printing for lawyers" (I would add, "and people who don't know how to use their email program"). Technically you could probably say this software is a "lawyer joke".
You can arrange emails in conversational order (from bottom to top and top to bottom) and see them on the screen. (use of "screen" is for advanced users only)
One Legal Advisor on the Systweak website states "Advanced Email Printer, solved my problem and changed my life completely". (Admittedly his life WAS pretty miserable beforehand).
I suppose now instead of learning how to use email features such as filters, rules, folders and search - he (or an assistant) prints everything out and has loads of paper to filter, fold and search through... oh and file... and find again... no print again...
But there is more - you can print emails both with and without a page break between emails, and you can choose to print emails in chronological order or reverse chronological order. (I suppose an email with page breaks - you could shuffle the pages for whatever order you wanted).
Look more prepared and researched. Then you can scare the other side (prosecution or defense) when you turn up to court with a bigger stack of paper than they have. Just watch the look on their faces!
You can sort by sender or subject in both ascending or descending order (like magic). Users without this software are aware that most windows programs permit sorting columns like "sender" by clicking on the column header.
Advanced Email Printer has a feature known as "print preview", you can see what the printout will look like before you commit it to paper (obviously to not waste paper...genius!)
What are the benefits that this brings to Microsoft Outlook? (According to the program demonstration)
- You can print a conversation from bottom to top and top to bottom. (you can also read messages in the reverse order without having to make a second printout).
- "comfortably" take printouts of individual cases. (well as comfortable as you can by running off all these printouts just because you aren't sure how to organise or retrieve your emails).
- arrange the order of email display. (you could display your inbox in the order that an email was received, or the reverse order). You could probably even print that out.
- at least one Legal Advisor has had his life "smoothened" and now can save more time for his family. (If you don't have a family, I suppose Advanced Email Printer will free up some time so you can take care of that also).
- This Legal Advisor is now "a winner forever" with "happy & growing clients" (Advanced Email Printer does not endorse the use of human growth hormone regardless of the desire to be a winner forever).

@2 - $49.95 for some "lawyer software". They could probably get away with ten times that amount. Lawyers just add the extra time sorting through papers and un-jamming the printer as "Billable Hours". :)
I'm boggled by the retail price of $49.95! Are they serious???????!!!!!!!! And the lack of an ability to use this with any other email client - like Thunderbird - is just ridiculous! Good luck to the developers with this software - they're sure gonna need it!

Del software di oggi mi ha colpito la prima caratteristica, "Organizza le e-mail in conversazioni", cosa di cui sentivo veramente la mancanza.
Ma il motivo per cui lo consiglio a tutti è l'ultima caratteristica: "Trattamento speciale per la cartella con le cose inviate"; vi consentirà di trattare in modo speciale la cartella delle cose che inviate, con grande soddisfazione psicologica ed un non trascurabile impatto emotivo.

Io non capisco davvero la povera gente.
Come già detto ripetutamente in precedenza se io dovessi prendere un virus mi compro subito un computer nuovo.
Se si dovesse bloccare la mail, compro direttamente tutti i server di gmail. Anche se - grazie al cielo - delle mail non ho bisogno, perché ho all’opera diversi famigli che si occupano della corrispondenza.
Sapete cosa vi dice la mia persona? io il software del giorno, per quanto inutile, lo scarico domani, per 50$, dal momento che sono moltoricco.

E' un programma INUTILE perché può essere usato solo da chi usa OUTLOOK. Inoltre, per chi usa OUTLOOK, esistono ALTERNATIVE FREE che fanno più o meno le stesse cose e forse qualcosa di più come XOBNI:

E' un programma RIDICOLO sia per il prezzo (50 $ per un ADD-ON come questo must be a JOKE...LOL!!) sia per le condizioni d'uso...
Infatti nella descrizione in alto dice verbatim "Questo tipo di software è quello che ogni PROFESSIONISTA, come un avvocato, dovrebbe avere per gestire al meglio i suoi progetti.", ma poi nei termini e nelle condizioni d'uso dice al punto 3 si legge che questo software è "Strictly for personal usage".
Insomma le COMICHE al GAOTD website...ah,ah,ah,ah...LOL!!

Contradiction in Offering!
The first statement I read said: “This type of software will appeal to all kinds of professionals who manage multiple projects.”
Regardless of what kind of software is offered as giveaway, this is not the first time I am confronted with such contradiction! It is free to use on a personal level, yet I cannot use is for work (aka professionally)!
Why shall I bother downloading the software if I am going to violate the rule #3 in terms and conditions, which says explicitly:
“3. Strictly personal usage.”?
Now, the questions is for GAOTD team …
Since the software author made it clear that it is intended for professionals’ use, can I used this giveaway software professionally at work after installing it on my own computer only?

Caro Niser ti rispondo che non vale le 50 monete che chiedono. Lo scaricato e provato ad installare ma per effettuare l'installazione richiede Outlook nella sua versione completa. Quindi il prg può essere anche utile ma se vuole il client Outlook per me è una estensione del client di posta e non un programma.

Anch'io passo, per uno che riceve 2 o 3 mail al giorno è del tutto inutile, forse chi ha un'attività correlata a notevoli quantitativi di mail lo puo trovare interessante, ma come gia detto alternative ce ne sono anche oggi, e 50 $ sono uno sproposito ciao a tutti

Il software di oggi potrebbe essere interessante per chi non utilizza Mozilla Thundebird, che permette la stammpa simultanea delle email selezionate, che ordina le mail, che permette di creare cartelle per tenere la posta sempre ordinata...
...e dimenticavo di dire che è Free...
Aspetto il software di domani che sarà sicuramente interessante...!
