10-Strike Network Inventory Explorer vede i processi in esecuzione sul computer, quanta memoria è installata, chi usa flash drives. Un amministratore può ottenere informazione riguardo i software installato, incluse le informazioni sui sistemi operativi, e programmi inclusi nell’installazione. Ogni volta che vengono controllati i computer su una rete, compara lo stato con il report precedente e genera un report con le differenze.
NB: Il programma usa WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) per accedere ai dati da remoto, senza installare altri software. WMI non è supportato da Windows 95/98/NT, XP Home, Vista Home Basic. Può essere installato in Windows 2003. WMI non può essere aggiunto a XP Home e Vista Home Basic.
